At the southern end of the Alabama, golfers will find newly renovated courses at Magnolia Grove. The topography at Magnolia Grove features creeks, marshland, and lakes with each of the 54 holes carved through indigenous hardwood and pine. The renovations have made the courses more “player friendly” while still keeping the integrity of Robert Trent Jones’ original design.

Magnolia Grove was recently named one of the “Top 50 Public Courses” by Golf World Magazine readers. The Crossings and Falls courses are also listed in Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” as two of the nation’s great value courses and as “America’s Top 50 Affordable Courses.”

Along with awesome features of the three golf courses, Magnolia Grove has a great practice facility that include a three tiered practice range with plenty of space, a pitching, bunker area that will help work on all aspects of your short game, and finally a large putting green with plenty of swinging breaks.

PGA Golf Teaching Professional

Magnolia Grove provides a professional staff that include PGA  Golf Teaching professional Brandon Mauch that can teach all level of golfers from the very beginners to the professional player.

CROSSINGS Course Tour

The Crossings course, which has hosted LPGA Tour events, provides an open parkland type ambiance. Several water features and crushed oyster shell waste areas were added during the recent renovations.

FALLS Course Tour

The renovated Falls course reopened in 2010 as the only par-71 course on the Trail. The main course is characterized by large, liberally contoured Mini Verde greens and massive cloverleaf bunkers. Several holes were entirely redesigned giving the course a brand new look.

SHORT COURSE

Golf Digest named the Short Course at Magnolia Grove as the best par-3 course in America. The Short Course, also recently renovated, features several newly designed putting surfaces and is as good as any collection of one-shotters on the championship courses.
