Magnolia Grove
At the southern end of the Alabama, golfers will find newly renovated courses at Magnolia Grove. The topography at Magnolia Grove features creeks, marshland, and lakes with each of the 54 holes carved through indigenous hardwood and pine. The renovations have made the courses more “player friendly” while still keeping the integrity of Robert Trent Jones’ original design.
Magnolia Grove was recently named one of the “Top 50 Public Courses” by Golf World Magazine readers. The Crossings and Falls courses are also listed in Golf Digest’s “Places to Play” as two of the nation’s great value courses and as “America’s Top 50 Affordable Courses.”
Along with awesome features of the three golf courses, Magnolia Grove has a great practice facility that include a three tiered practice range with plenty of space, a pitching, bunker area that will help work on all aspects of your short game, and finally a large putting green with plenty of swinging breaks.
Timber Creek
TimberCreek offers players of all abilities a fabulous golf experience. A 27-hole championship layout designed by Earl Stone, TimberCreek offers scenic views of spacious, rolling fairways carved from a forest of Dogwoods, Magnolias, and Pines. Elevation changes, wetland preserves, and bountiful wildlife accentuate the flowing terrain, creating an atmosphere truly unique from other courses in the Gulf Coast region. And with a full service restaurant, first class practice facilities, and a good dose of our staff’s southern hospitality, TimberCreek Golf Club becomes a must play for all golfers.
Ideally located on the Eastern Shore of Mobile Bay in beautiful Baldwin County just off Interstate 10, (Exit 38, Highway 181 North), TimberCreek is easily accessible from Mobile, Gulf Shores, Pensacola, and the Mississippi Coast. We are extremely excited to run a golf academy at TimberCreek!
